A blockchain node is essentially a computer or device that participates in the blockchain network. Each node stores a copy of the entire blockchain, which consists of a series of blocks containing transaction data. Types of Blockchain Nodes:

Full Nodes: Full nodes are integral to the blockchain network’s operation. How Blockchain Nodes Work:

Transaction Broadcasting: When a user initiates a transaction, it is broadcast to the network by their node. Other nodes receive the transaction and propagate it further.

Validation and Consensus: Full nodes validate the transaction by checking its legitimacy, ensuring the sender has sufficient funds, and adhering to other network rules. These nodes achieve consensus through methods like proof-of-work or proof-of-stake.

Block Propagation: Mining nodes gather valid transactions and attempt to solve the cryptographic puzzle to add a new block to the blockchain. Once solved, the new block is propagated across the network.

Verification and Confirmation: Other nodes verify the newly added block. As multiple nodes validate the same block, it gains confirmations and becomes part of the blockchain.

Updating the Ledger: Once confirmed, the transaction is permanently recorded in the blockchain. All nodes update their copies of the ledger to reflect the new state of the network.
